Typically, we have put together sets of commercial red angus bred heifers, but with the growing popularity of true F1 red baldies, we have started offering “Premium Red Baldies” for sale. Our F1 cross heifers quality for the Premium Red Baldy program that is offered through the American Hereford Association and the Red Angus Association of America. Our bull battery that sires these heifers are selected based on maternal characteristics without sacrificing growth and carcass quality traits. We have retained a number of these red baldies in our own cow herd, and they have gone on to make fantastic mother cows. They go on to calve easy, milk heavy, and wean big calves!
